Corner shower enclosure with outward opening hinged door that allows you to choose the width of the part of the door that moves inwards, up to 50 cm. The handle, when closed, is integrated into the vertical upright. The Door + Fixed side solution is suitable for corner installations with door widths up to 120 cm and for bathrooms where there is sufficient space to open the hinged door outwards. The fixed side can be any depth up to 119 cm. The Janas shower cabins are made of Stainless Steel, a metal that guarantees elegance and durability. Besides being strong and non-deformable over time, Stainless Steel offers natural protection making it particularly suitable for humid environments and in contact with water.
Pivoting hinge in solid steel
The 8 mm-thick tempered glass hinged door of the Janas shower enclosures is supported by a sturdy stainless steel hinge. The hinge rotates on a pin, giving the door a pivoting movement. You can decide the distance of the pin from the wall, from a minimum of 20 to a maximum of 50 cm, thus choosing freely how far from the wall the door will open.
The hinge is anchored by a stainless steel bracket, which is also very sturdy despite its thin shape. The stainless steel side profile securing the bracket attachment to the wall, and the shower enclosure as a whole has a covering, also in stainless steel, which renders the design of the enclosure linear and clean.

Quality that stands out, even where no one looks
The wall profile that allows the attachment of the bracket is also perfectly finished inside the enclosure. Every detail is tended with the utmost attention: from the use of highest quality stainless steel to ensure product durability, to the choice of screws, some with flat heads and others with rounded heads depending on their function. The gasket that runs inside the profile cushions the door contact with the profile upon closing.
With the door closed, the handle recesses into the vertical upright
A specific feature of the Janas collection is the surprising stainless steel handle designed as if it were the side pillar. When the door closes, the handle integrates visually with the jamb upright, as if were all one element.
Handle or vertical profile?
Thanks to the perfect alignment between the handle and the jamb upright, what you see is a unique, shining, sleek and slender surface. With nothing to break its linear design and without knobs. A surface that will be without imperfections forever. The beauty of stainless steel is ingeniously enhanced by the simplicity and linearity of the design.
Ergonomics and elegance
On the inner side of the door, the handle has a sleek, slim grip to make it easy to close the door when entering the shower enclosure.
Stabilising tie-rod
For corner installations, the shower enclosure is equipped with a stylish stabilising tie-rod Made of stainless steel and with the same finish as the shower enclosure, the tie-rod is pressure-integrated with the glass without the need to drill into the glass.
Lower hinge and dam profile for watertightness
The lower profile (in the photo, the profile that goes from the top to the lower left corner of the image) acts as a dam to prevent water leakage. It is also height-adaptable to shower trays flush with the floor. The lower hinge in which the door glass is positioned pivots on this profile. Together with the upper one, this hinge (the robust stainless steel element shown in the photo, crossways to the dam profile) allows the movement of the pivoting hinged door.

Calibe tailors every product to the centimeter based on the specific needs of the buyer, producing truly custom-made shower cabins: genuine unique pieces. Custom production ensures perfect installation, without ever needing to improvise temporary solutions to fit the cabin into its space. Before being delivered, the shower cabins are assembled and tested at Calibe's headquarters, and they are delivered with most components already assembled and not in a kit box. These are also attentions that Calibe considers fundamental to ensure maximum satisfaction for those who choose its shower cabins.
The width of the shower cabin door and walls must be defined with the utmost precision.
With custom profiles, it is also possible to meet particular needs related to bathroom architecture: walls not in plumb, sloped ceilings, protrusions in the walls.
It is necessary to specify:
the position (right or left) of the handle
the type of glass (transparent, extra-clear, coloured, frosted, reflective)
the distance of the pivot pin from the wall (20/30/40/50 cm)
the position (right or left) of the corner fixed side
the external dimensions of the shower tray, and type of installation of the tray
Measurements and installation must be carried out by specialized professionals. Retailers use qualified installers both for taking measurements before the order and for the installation of the shower cabin once it is produced and delivered. Alternatively, those who purchase the shower cabin can use the services of Technical Assistance Centers.
